What is electrical transformer?

Transformer is an electrical device that transfers electrical energy between two or more circuits through electromagnetic induction. The transformer is used to change the voltage. The transformer changes the voltage without changing the power and frequency. That is, Increase-decreases the voltage. We can say that the transformer changes the alternative voltage in electric power applications without loss of electrical energy. The transformer was first created by Michael faraday and showed it to the world in 1831.

Working Principal of Transformer's

The transformer mainly consists of three parts consisting of a metallic core and two winding Primary Winding and Secondary Winding. Which is made of a very good conductor metal like copper. winding plays the main role in the transformer.
